Bishop’s Update: Day Three, June 25
Annie Jacobs Honored as Distinguised Woman by the Episcopal Church Women
Bishop’s Update GC81 Day Three, June 25
Congratulations to Annie Jacobs of The Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina for being named one of the “Distinguished Women” of National Episcopal Church Women (ECW)! It was my pleasure to join, from left, Mary Duane, Debbie, Ginger and Annie in representing our diocese at today’s banquet.
With permission from Annie, it is with mixed emotions that I announce that she is in the process of moving back to the state of Michigan. We will miss her smile, her friendship and her good leadership in this diocese!
East Carolina’s Deputation
Grateful to be serving at General Convention with these good people from The Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina. They’ve all given so much of their time, energy and giftedness to participate in the councils of The Episcopal Church!
Bishop Michael Hunn’s Call for Culture Change
Grateful to Bishop Michael Hunn for his words during yesterday’s legislative session in the House of Bishops. He gave clear expression to ideas held by so many of us, including me. Now, if we can find a way to bring reform and not just talk about it!
