Deputies Update: End of Day Three
The Rev. Paul Canady, Chair of our deputation, offers a recap of day three at General Convention, noting the passing of the budget (with a shoutout to Tess Judge who has been a member of Program, Budget and Finance for The Episcopal Church); that Deacon Lisa Kirby from Christ Church, New Bern was elected to the Court of Review; a resolution on creating adaptive changes to General Convention to increase the ability for more people to have more voice; and the discussion of the Prayer Book and how we amend and add to the BCP we have (and love).
