A Celebration of Homecoming and Healing: Veteran’s Service at St. John’s, Fayetteville

The Episcopal churches of Fayetteville and the Upper Cape Fear Deanery together with the Episcopalians at Fort Bragg will gather for a service of support for our Veterans on Wednesday, Nov. 9th at 5:30 PM at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 302 Green Street, Fayetteville, NC.
Col. (Ret.) Grant Steffan will deliver the meditation. Grant served as an engineer officer in the Army for over 26 years in assignments in the United States and overseas. His Army career included commanding an engineer company during the Gulf War in 1990-91 and serving as a division staff officer in Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti in 1994-95. Bishop Rob Skirving will be the celebrant at Holy Communion.
Members of the Fayetteville and Fort Bragg communities and the Diocese of East Carolina are encouraged to attend. Dinner will be provided at no charge for veterans and for those on active duty in the military. Donations will be accepted by others.
