Grace Church, Whiteville is offering a June Bible study focused on Creation Care that will meet each Wednesday at noon. All are welcome, though you are asked to register for the study by May 25th.
Climate change is a spiritual as well as a scientific issue. What can and should Christians do to mitigate its effects? Learn all about it in the upcoming Bible study and workshop, “Caring for God’s Creation.”
Together we will study:
- What the scripture tells us about caring for our natural resources.
- What the current health is of our planet
- How climate change is impacting our weather, food supply, air and water quality.
- How the environmental and health consequences of climate change impact low-income countries and poor people disproportionally to others
- Discover possible solutions and simple steps Christians can take to sustain our planet
- Plus, we’ll have fun with hands-on activities, guest speakers and field trips
