Fall Conference for Middle Schoolers

Join middle schoolers from around the Diocese of East Carolina for fellowship, worship, fun and time away from every day stresses.

When: Friday, November 19th – Sunday, November 21st

(Parish Check in begins at 7:00 PM on Friday evening)

Who: Youth in grades 6-8

Where: Trinity Center

Youth or Adult Participant Fee – $150

Youth or Adult Team Fee – $75

Participant Registration Deadline: OCTOBER 26th

Parish Registration Deadline: NOVEMBER 1st

Fall Conference for Middle Schoolers is a weekend event at Trinity Center for youth in grades 6-8. Each year there is a different theme, this year’s conference theme is “Into the Unknown: God’s faithful people walking untold paths in uncertain times.” As the ECYC (East Carolina Youth Council) was brainstorming ideas, this theme resonated with all the unknowns we all face each day especially over the last 18 months. Imagining how especially challenging this might be for middle schoolers, the ECYC is drawing upon well known stories in the Bible that show God’s faithfulness to us, even as we are walking an untold path.

This event is designed and facilitated by the East Carolina Youth Council. The ECYC also welcomes high schoolers and other adults who would like to serve on team to apply. The application is below and includes all of the important information and expectations for team members.

Please note that in order to keep everyone as safe as possible at youth events, the Department of Youth Ministry in the Diocese of East Carolina has the following COVID-19 Safety Policies and Procedures in place. Please also know that these policies and procedures are subject to change as are event parameters should metrics and other data around COVID-19 require the Department of Youth Ministry to reevaluate.
