Holy Troublemakers & Unconventional Saints was first a beautifully illustrated book by Daneen Akers, this middle grade children’s book explores a variety of people, past and present, from different faith backgrounds who exemplify what it means to be a saint in today’s world. Some are ones we are all familiar with like St. Francis of Assisi and others are less familiar but equal in their faith and commitment to change in the world.
This book, published last year now has accompanying curriculum and a calendar. It is a great resource in modernizing what it means to be a Saint today.
