St. Christopher’s, Havelock Welcomes The Rev’d Paul Andersen as Priest-in-Charge
The Vestry and Congregation of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Havelock are pleased to announce The Reverend Paul Andersen as their new Priest-in-Charge effective January 1, 2023. Fr. Andersen comes to St. Christopher’s Church with extensive experience both secular and religious, having served for twenty years with the Foreign Service (Diplomatic Corps) of the U.S. Department of State with assignments in Central America, Europe, Eastern Europe, India and Africa. He has also served the Church both overseas and in Episcopal parishes in Massachusetts, Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, and North Carolina. Mrs. Andersen also served with the U.S. Department of State and in private education as a language instructor of multiple languages. Their son Alexander is serving in the U.S. Army. Of this transition, Senior Warden Sharon Krise shares,The congregation at St. Christopher’s was happy to meet Paul and looks forward to having him with us as Priest-in-Charge.
